As you would suspect the 3 day Friday-Sunday affair as it always seems to me a 2 day festival of Saturday / Sunday of late July
#BeerMe time for many of 25-30,000 people over the weekend
and try 200+ different brews & 100+ companies
Also Trying new brews from major brands like Molson Coolrs, Sleeman, Bud
But still the new to middle sized brands can be the best & most exciting with there creations Mill St. Brewery, Flying Monkeys, Inns&Gunns also Kennigton & KLB for there Watermelon & Raspberry Wheat Beers & there was a New Brews Section as well https://twitter.com/tobeerfestival/status/493457729629876224
I did enjoy Mill Street Brewery new entry of 100th Meridian
Brewed with organic prairie malt and Bravo and Cascade hops, our 100th Meridian Organic Amber Lager is firmly grounded in North American brewing tradition. This flavourful amber beauty is our quintessential American-style craft lager. Certified Organic by OCIA.
Also the Inns&Gunns new Cherry finish & there Rum finish varieties were quite good as well The Cherry Finish brewed using three malt varieties, roasted barley, wheat and Super Styrian and Goldings hops, Canadian Cherrywood Aged is matured for 49 days over lightly-toasted black cherrywood chips. Maple syrup is added post maturation when the beer is in cold conditioning to add a subtly sweet, toasty twist.
Innis & Gunn Rum Finish has been finished over oak infused with Caribbean Spiced Rum. The result is delicious, bursting with the flavours of Caribbean spices along with our signature notes of vanilla, toffee and oak.
Also to go along with the great beer there was amazing food Fidel Gasto Pad Tai Fries
Also La Brea Foods Had Amazing Delicious Tacos & Fried Sushi Roll
Of course you can’t forget the Lobster from RockLobster Food pairs well with beer
but the same goes for Pizza Libretto & Porchetta Food Co
And i did mention the awesome headlining bands that hit BeerFest stage each night & day i didnt see
