Here is a little history about this whiskey we were told about
The Crown Royal 75th Anniversary blend is a new limited edition Canadian whisky created to celebrate the brand’s original blend and the noble beginnings of Crown Royal. In 1939, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth journeyed across North America – a monumental occasion that inspired the creation of Crown Royal. The blended Canadian whisky was gifted to the Royal Couple to enjoy as they toured North America by train. This unique, limited time offering celebrates the illustrious Crown Royal blending tradition by featuring a special rye from the historic Coffey Still. Our Master Blender carefully blends this exquisite Coffey rye alongside hand-picked whiskies from our extensive stocks to create an exceptionally rich and smooth whisky. Truly made for a king, Crown Royal celebrates its 75th anniversary with this specially crafted blend. The result is an exceptionally rich and smooth whisky highlighting an elegant complexity of light spice and dried fruit.
They also had cocktails & 75th straight up food parings to go with the whiskey tastings
